Steven Alan McDaniel, 45, Huntington, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. He was born in Marion, Indiana, on Wednesday, November 9, 1977, to Steven Krebs and Delores (Cox) Heath.
Steven attended Oak Hill and Southwood high schools. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and he was an avid Harley-Davidson and powersports lover. He was also trained in robotics. Steve will be missed by his friends and family.
Survivors include his father, Steven A. Krebs of Marion; mother, Delores Ann (the late Gary) Heath of Huntington; sons, Matthew (Tyanna) McDaniel, along with their two children, of North Manchester, Micah McDaniel of NY, and Bayley McDaniel of Laketon; brother, Adam C. (Melissa) Brock of Marion; sister, Elizabeth Ann (Robert Brandon) Blake of Anderson; and 11 nieces and nephews.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Steven’s life will begin at 12:00 noon. Burial will take place at a later date at Grant Memorial Park.
