Shirley J. Mills, 73, of Hartford City, IN, passed away at 5:55 PM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at her residence in Hartford City, IN. She was born on Sunday, November 19, 1944, in Scottsburg, IN. She married David Mills on Monday, January 09, 1995 in Muncie, IN. Shirley was a graduate of Scottsburg High School. She had worked as a beautician and in Home Health care. She enjoyed sewing, painting & coloring, ceramics, loved shopping for bargains, going to thrift stores, and rummage sales. She loved her jewelry. Above all Shirley loved being able to spend time with her family and grandchildren.
Shirley will be sadly missed by her Sons – Cristopher McCammon, Montpelier, IN,Eric McCammon, Hartford City, IN, Greggory (Tammy) McCammon, Hartford City, IN, Kevin McCammon, Marion, IN, Jeffery (Nicci) McCammon, Montpelier, IN, Grandchildren – Maranda Ingram, Justin McCammon, Catherine McCammon, Jordan McCammon, Adreinne McClure, Alison McCammon, Autumn McCammon, Ashley McKnight, Victor Manley, Amanda Manley, Corey Constable, Kyle Aspy, Kaylie McCammon, Kelsey McCammon, Lily McCammon, Grace McCammon, Ethan McCammon, Jacob Kinder, & Carson Kinder, and 12 Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Father – Chester Miller, Mother – Elizabeth (Bridgewater) Miller, Husband – David Mills, Brother – Michael Miller, and Sister – Joanne Miller.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
A service to celebrate her life will follow at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 with Pastor Bill VanHaften officiating.
