Shirley A. Nibarger

Shirley A. Nibarger, 82, of Montpelier, IN, passed away at 10:50 AM on Sunday, November 18, 2018 surrounded by her family at Millers Merry Manor in Hartford City, IN.  She was born on Sunday, July 26, 1936, in Long Beach, CA. She married George Pat  Nibarger on Saturday, April 01, 1967 in Las Vegas.  Shirley attended the Excelor High School. She was a member of the Kingsley Full Gospel Church. She had been a homemaker most of her life and was able to be home to raise her children. Shirley enjoyed crocheting, mowing, word books, and doing puzzles. Shirley’s family would like to give a special thank you to Miller’s Merry Manor, Dr. Thomas Stewart, IU Blackford Hospital,Family Life Care Hospice,and Bridgewater Centre.

 

Shirley will be sadly missed be her Husband of 51 years – George Pat Nibarger, Montpelier, IN, Daughter – Carol Grass, Montpelier, IN, Son – John (Rose) Major, Montpelier, IN, Son – David (Cindy) Nibarger, Montpelier, IN, Daughter – Desra (Rikki) Rhodes, Montpelier, IN, Son – Tyson Nibarger, Roanoke, IN, Sister – Marjorie Kingston, Kingman, AZ, Sister – Kathy Wynne Corona, CA, Brother – James Stanley Deeth, Castle Rock, CO,  Brother – Kenny Deeth, Indio, CA, Grandchildren- John “Bud” Christopher Major, Cassie Major, Jessica Grass, Nathaniel Grass, Maci Nibarger, Tristan Adkins, Dyllan Rhodes, and Kodie Rhodes, Great Grandchildren- Isabella Parrish, Damien Walden, Xavier Walden, and Emmi Walden.

 

 

She was preceded in death by her Father – Clifford Stanley Deeth, Mother – Dorothy (Green) Deeth, Grandson- Travis Grass, Daughter – Barbara Major, and Son-in-Law- Victor Grass.

 

 

 

Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W. Windsor St. Montpelier, IN. 47359   on Friday, November 23, 2018  from 3:00PM   to 7:00PM.

 

A service to celebrate Shirley’s life will be at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home   at 2:00 PM   on Saturday, November 24, 2018  with Clarence Baker  officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brookside Memorial Park in Montpelier.
