Schoening Replaces McClary as City Councilman in Wabash

WABASH – Eric Schoening was chosen to replace Aaron McClary as the Wabash City Council representative from the city’s Second District.
McClary, who took the seat in January, was transferred to Markle and has recently moved from the city.
Schoening was selected for the post Tuesday night by four precinct committeemen during a GOP caucus. The Precinct Committeemen reside within the district.
In another matter, Steve Kirtlan was selected for the Noble Township Board, replacing Dan Dale, who resigned from the board.
