Sandra Sue “Sandy” Yates, 76, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:45 pm, Wednesday, January 17, 2024, at her home. She was born on June 28, 1947, in Bluffton, Indiana, to William and Ramona (Oliver) Yates.
Sandy was a 1965 graduate of Union Township High School. She worked as a Real Estate Agent and also worked as an aide at the Wabash Middle School several years. She loved and was extremely proud of her grandkids and nieces and nephews. Sandy loved history and often took her grandkids on educational road trips. Sandy also enjoyed golfing,and participated in several professional events in Arizona and California.
She is survived by her daughter, Alissa (Brian) Beaman of Rancho Santa Margarita, California; three grandchildren, Lindsey Beaman, Sean Beaman, and Katelyn Beaman; mother, Ramona (Oliver) Yates of New Carlisle, Indiana; sisters and brother, Terri (Mike) Denney of Wabash, Mark (Melinda) Yates of Laporte, Indiana, and Debra (Rich) Kemp of Magdalena, New Mexico; and several nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, William Yates.
Per Sandy’s request there will be no services. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, Wabash.
