Ruth Ann Powers, 71, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:10 am, Sunday, May 28, 2023, at Parkview Wabash Hospital. She was born on August 5, 1951, in Wabash, Indiana, to Harold Eugene Baker and Gladys Irene (Fisher) Ervin.
Ruth was a homemaker. She enjoyed animals, knitting, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Paul (Margaret) Powers of Elkhart, Indiana, and Sanford (Jullie) Powers of Syracuse, Indiana; seven grandchildren, Justin Powers of Fort Polk, Louisiana, Luke Powers of Korea, Amber Powers, Hannah Powers, Heather Powers, and Samantha Powers, all of Syracuse, and Harley Davidson of Lagro, Indiana; sister, Donna (Richard) Aderman of Warsaw, Indiana; and her boyfriend of 40 years, Vernon Rose of Wabash. She was preceded in death by her parents, and her daughter, Daphanie Davidson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm, Thursday, June 1, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Charlie Easterday officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 12:30-2:00 pm Thursday, at the funeral home.
