Rose Marie Koors, age 91 of Muncie passed away on Saturday, December 25, 2021 at Morrison Woods Health Campus, Muncie, Indiana.
Rose was born on November 7, 1930 in Marion, Indiana the daughter of the late Charles and Maude (Crawley) Bailey. She married Frank Koors on June 13, 1953, and he preceded her in death on March 12, 1991.
Rose was a nurse and homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church, the Altar and Rosary Society and the Catholic Nurses Association.
She is survived by her children, Terri Masterson of Muncie, Susi (Mike) Scheiman of Kokomo, Cindy (Mike) Shibinski of Cincinnati, Ohio, Cathy (Chris) Wright of Omaha, Nebraska and Jerry (Karen) Koors of Indianapolis; 11 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by brothers, Paul Bailey, Jack Bailey, Corky Bailey and Joseph Bailey; and a sister, Pat Goddard.
Visitation will take place from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday, January 3, 2022 at Raven-Choate Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. A Rosary Service will be held at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Funeral Mass will then follow the Rosary Service at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at St. Paul Catholic Church, 1009 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana with Father Ted Rothrock officiating.
Burial will be held at Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion, Indiana immediately following the Funeral Mass.
