Rosa married Artie Moore on April 10, 1952. He passed away April 6, 2011. She attended New Life Baptist Church in Wabash, Indiana. In her free time, she loved quilting, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed frying fish, but not eating them.
Rosa is survived by her two daughters; Ronda Moore of Kokomo, Indiana, Stacy McColley of Wabash, Indiana; six grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by both parents; her husband, Artie Moore; two sisters, Mattie Thompson, Sally Music; one brother, Lewis Horner; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at McDonald Funeral Home, LaFontaine Chapel, with Pastor Ron Forsythe and Reverend Robert VanCise officiating. Burial will follow at Mississinewa Cemetery in Somerset, Indiana.
Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 28, 2024, at the funeral home.
