Ronald P. Mullen

Ronald P. Mullen, 73, Gas City, passed away in his home at 2:24 a.m. on Sunday, July 22, 2018.  He was born in Fairmount on May 16, 1945, to the late Lester and Deloris (Holloway) Mullen and graduated from Fairmount High School.

On September 5, 1964, Ronald married his loving wife, Rebecca A. Hoffheins, with whom he shared 43 years together before she passed away on February 28, 2008.  He worked in skilled trades at GM for 40 years until his retirement and was a member of the Corvette Club and Sling Shot Club.

Ronald was always a hard worker and always adventurous, even up until his passing.  He had numerous hobbies and enjoyed reading.  Nothing could surpass, though, the joy he received when spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He will be greatly missed by his daughters, Kimberly (Kenneth) Garcia, Gas City, and Dawn (L. Michael) Wright, Gas City; 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; brothers, Pat (Margie) Mullen and Donnie (Suzanne) Mullen; and sisters, Beth Gugel, Kay Watson, and Phyllis Skeens.

Also preceding him in death were three brothers-in-law, Tim Skeens, Tom Gugel, and Richard Watson.

The family will receive visitors from 2 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 25, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.

Immediately following visitation, services to celebrate Ronald’s life will begin at 4 p.m..
