Ronald D. Dale I, age 75, of Wabash, passed away on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Parkview Wabash Hospital, Wabash, Indiana.
Ronald was born on January 18, 1948, in Marion, Indiana the son of the late Robert and Gladys (Wright) Dale. He married Linda Davison on June 13, 1970, and she survives.
Ronald was a heavy equipment operator for I.M.I., Inc. of Swayzee, until his retirement in 2011. He was a former member of the Swayzee Tractor Club and the Converse Flying Eagles. He loved cars and tractors and creating stuff in his garage. Ronald was a great father and loved to show and teach his children how to fix and create things.
In addition to his wife, Linda, he is also survived by his children, Ronald Dale II “Ronnie” (Diana C. Sparks Dale) of Greenwood, Jeffrey M. Dale of Pendleton, and Sabrina R. Dale of New Castle; a brother, Daniel “Danny” Dale of Swayzee; two sisters, Karen Cain of Marion and Joyce (Robert) Mather of Swayzee; and three grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by three brothers, Donald L. Dale, William “Billy” Dale and Robert “Bobbie” Dale; a sister, Bonnie Watkins; and one granddaughter.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at Raven Choate Robinson Funeral Home, 1202 W. Kem Road, Marion, Indiana. Funeral Services will begin at Noon with Pastor Solomon David officiating.
Burial will immediately follow funeral services in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee, Indiana.
