Romonia K. Huddleston, 79, of Marion, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022, in Marion. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on September 16, 1942, to William and Agnus (Peer) Miller.
Romonia married Daniel Huddleston on September 14, 1962. She was a faithful pastor’s wife of 51 years and remained devoted to him her entire life. Romonia was a member of Faith Apostolic Church in Marion. She always brought a smile and never met a stranger. She was an avid reader and loved any kind of puzzle.
Survivors include her three sons, Tim (Thea) Huddleston of Lubbock, TX, Joe (Lisa) Huddleston of Slaton, TX, and Fred (Debra) Huddleston of Wellston, OK; grandchildren, Tiffany, Stephanie, Kelly, Whitney, Charity, Brandon, Brittney L., Brittany W., Cody, Allen, Shania, Leslie Jo, and Gabby; 19 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Dewey (June) Miller of Bluffton, George Miller of Marion, Eva (Don) Summers of Marion, and Bertie (Ray) Tigue of Elsberry, MO; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Daniel Huddleston; son, Daniel Huddleston, Jr.; and grandson, JD Johnson.
The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Friday, September 2, 2022, at Faith Apostolic Church, 902 W. 16th St., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Romonia’s life will begin at 11:00 am with Pastor Clarence Hand and Rev. Joe Huddleston officiating. Burial will take place at Quaker Lynn Cemetery in Lynn, Indiana, at 3:00 pm with Pastor Greg Pruett, Rev. Joe Huddleston, and Rev. Bill Huddleston officiating.
