Rolondo Javier “Rollie” “Miss Doubtfire” Medina, age 54, of Marion, passed away Saturday December 14, 2018 in Huntington. He worked as a cook at an adult day care for 8 years and a manager at Dairy Queen. He was a member of Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, Mercedes, Texas, and a dedicated Mercedes Tigers fan. He loved life, people, cooking and never met a stranger.
Rollie was born October 21, 1964, in Mercedes, Texas, the son of Celestino and Herminia (Bowman) Medina. He is survived by 3 sisters Juanita (Jay) Herring of Marion, Lisa (Daniel) McDonald of Huntington, and Francis (Genaro) Esquivel of Huntington, a brother Ray Koltas of Las Vegas, Nevada, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nephews and Nieces and many friends. He was preceded in death by his natural parents Celestino and Herminia Medina, the parents who raised him Filipe and Matilda Estella Espinoza Sr., a sister Elizabeth Jean Medina, and a brother Filipe Espinoza Jr.
There will be no public services.
