Rodney Lee Banks, 52, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 3:25 pm, Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne. He was born June 6, 1968 in Wabash, to George and Leota “Lorene” (Campbell) Banks.
Rodney formerly worked at Metal Source in Wabash. He attended Christian Heritage Church and enjoyed playing Bingo.
He is survived by his mother, Leota “Lorene” Banks of Wabash, son, Jake Banks of Marion, Indiana, one grandchild, and his sister, Theresa Banks of Wabash. He was preceded in death by his father, George Banks, Jr.
Funeral services will be 10:30 am, Thursday, January 7, 2021, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call one hour prior to the service Thursday at the funeral home.
