Rodney D. Stinefield, 51, Marion, passed away in his home at 11:49 a.m. on Monday, August 13, 2018. He was born in Marion on March 5, 1967, to the late James “Pete” Stinefield and to Helen (Nickles) Gore, who survives.
Rodney was a graduate of Marion High School and worked at B&J Plastic Pipe in Indianapolis. He was previously employed at American Woodmark in Gas City. He was a very easy person to please, funny, outgoing, and sarcastic. He enjoyed working on cars, as well as watching movies and murder mystery shows. Rodney especially loved his grandchildren and was all about family.
He is survived by his daughter, Maranda (Todd) Faulkner, Marion; grandchildren, Javin and Jamari Faulkner; mother, Helen Gore, Marion; brothers, Larry (Emily) Stinefield and Rocky Stinefield; sister, Jamie (Rich) Shortsleeve, Upland; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at 5 p.m. on Thursday, August 16, 2018, at Christland United Methodist Church, 721 E. Charles St., Marion, IN. Pastor Jason Stanley will be officiating.
Arrangements are entrusted to Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN.
