Robert Wayne Hann

Robert Wayne Hann passed away on April 19, 2018 at Lutheran Hospital, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born on July 4, 1954 in Peru, Indiana to Herbert and Kathryn Hann. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Pat (Hann) Culbertson, and his brother Jim Hann. He is survived by two children, Andy and Jennifer Hann of Peru, as well as a longtime companion, Barb Hunt, also of Peru. Bob is also survived by three sisters: Kris (Hann) Daily, Marsha (Hann) Gilkey, and Mary (Hann) Hines, all of Peru. Also, two brothers: Steve Hann of Peru, and Mike Hann of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. Also surviving are three grandchildren: Addison, Elijah, and Mackenzie, as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Bob was a veteran of the United State Navy and loved the time that he spent serving his country. Bob worked at Bryan Steam for nearly thirty years and made many friends there. He loved baseball and was a big fan of the Chicago Cubs. Bob enjoyed going to the VFW and socializing with friends, watching old John Wayne movies, going on drives around town, and spending time with his family. He had a firecracker personality and could make anybody laugh. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 23, 2018 from 4pm – 7pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at 10am on Tuesday, April 24, 2018 at the funeral home, with Deacon Truman Stevens officiating. Burial will take place at the Santa Fe Cemetery in Santa Fe, Indiana with military service provided by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
