Robert J. Worden Jr. (Bob), age 58 of Denver, IN, passed away peacefully at his home on October 30, 2017 to reunite with those who preceded in death including father, Robert Worden Sr. and son-in-law, Kendall Carter.
Robert is survived by his four children, Erica Worden, Tracy Worden (Freeman Townsend Jr.), Lora Sivits (Anthony Sivits), Allison Worden (Matthew Hamilton); Canine, Braxton; grandchildren, McKynze Sivits, Mason Sivits; mother, Thelma Worden; brother, Jeff Worden and sister, Debbie Achey.
Robert was born in Peru, IN on November 25, 1958. Robert worked for Bryan Steam for over 30 years when he retired in 2015.
Robert loved the outdoors, horseback riding, working on cars, riding his motorcycle and cooking for others. He was a loving and caring father.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday November 3, 2017 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday November 4, 2017 at 10am at the funeral home, with Pastor Kenny Cole officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery in Mexico, IN.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Worden, Brett Worden, Freeman Townsend, Anthony Sivits, Jim Gilkey, Chris Holland, Craig Pugh and Kevin Brumbaugh.
