Robert Glen “Bob” Bowman, 86, of Mexico, Indiana passed away October 29, 2017
He was born in Miami County on May 31, 1931 to Leroy and Marietta (Dameron) Bowman. He married Beverly (Gerard) Bowman. Bob served in the United States Navy and retired from Chrysler.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly. Also, his children: Robert D. Bowman of Tennessee; Richard D. Bowman of Texas; Tim Rader of Kentucky; Ronnie Rader of Mexico, In; Gregory Rader of Mexico, In; Theresa Dabney of Peru, In; Cynthia Steward of Missouri; Randy Miller of Peru, In; Jim Miller of Florida; Marie Pugh of Mexico, In; and Karen Smith of Indianapolis, In. Also surviving are several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, five sisters, four children, one grandchild, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 4pm – 7pm on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, 105 West Third Street, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10am, with Lucas Fausett officiating. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru, Indiana with military service provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.
