Robert (Bob) Earl Hair, 75, of Peru passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, July 19, 2018.
He was born on September 16, 1942, to Bernice and Myron Hair. He married Nancy L. Jerzak on August 3, 1968. She survives.
He proudly served in the United States Air Force where he retired from in 1998. He enjoyed traveling to Florida for the winter, golfing and filming North Miami Warrior football games.
He is survived by his wife Nancy, son Robert (Dawn) of Peru, son Kenneth of Tampa, Florida, son Keith (Carrie) of Kokomo, 4 beloved granddaughters, Madison, Amelia, Andrea and Riley, brother John (Patti) of Indianapolis, sister Janet (Tim) Hall of Phoenix Arizona, sister-in-law Janet Hair of Lawrence and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Jeff Hair. He will be buried with full military rites and honors.
Visitation will be held from 3pm – 7pm on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at Zion Chapel, 915 South Broadway, Peru, Indiana. Funeral service will be held at Zion Chapel on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at 11am, with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery. Military service will be provided by the Miami County Military Rites Team.
Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Chapel’s “The Rock” Youth Ministry.
