Rebecca Rose Morgan, 68, Fairmount, passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2022, at her residence. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on July 19, 1954, to Jean Jones and Virginia (Kindle) Conkling. On November 9, 1988, she married the love of her life, Larry Morgan.
She worked at Glass Containers for 12 years until they closed. She loved attending her grandchildren’s sporting events, car shows, going to the casino, listening to music, and watching the Hallmark Channel.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Morgan of Fairmount; daughters, Kimberly Roberts of Fairmount, Stephanie Scheidt of VA; son, Jason Roberts of Fairmount; sister, Joyce Thien; brothers, Roger Jones, Terry Kinzie; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jean Jones; mother, Virginia Conkling; brother, James Kinzie; and sister, Kay Louise Hendey.
The family will receive visitors from 8:30 am to 10:00 am on Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Rebecca’s life will begin at 10:00 am with Rev. Dr. Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery.
