Visitation will be from 12 – 2 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2 p.m. Monday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Chaplain Kurt Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Andrews Riverside Cemetery in Huntington County.

Ray was born on August 4, 1933 in Andrews, the son of Monroe R. and Garnett (McDaniel) Keel. He married Emma Irene Bolsover on March 28, 1953 at their homestead in Andrews; she preceded him in death on September 13, 2016. He retired in 1998 from Dana Corporation in Andrews after 25 years of service in production. Ray was an avid gardener, hunter, and fisherman and he loved spending time with his family and pets.
Survivors include daughters Marta Caley of Huntington and Jeanie (Shady) Allen of Andrews, a son, Don (Becky Howard) Keel of Andrews, grandchildren Patrick Caley, Jenny (Matt) Wilson, Colby (Cortney Ward) Allen, Jason (Holly) Allen, and Josh Keel, and great grandchildren Hannah Wilson, Makenzie Wilson, Adison Allen, Miles Allen, Braxton Stouder, Levi Caley, and Garrett Caley. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother, James Keel, and a sister, Wilma Duhamell-Powell.
