Peggy Stinson, 86, of Lebanon, TN, formerly of Wells County, IN, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018 at The Pavilion Senior Living in Lebanon, TN. She was born on Sunday, September 11, 1932, in Montpelier, IN. She married Kenneth Stinson on Saturday, February 17, 1951 in Montpelier, IN. He passed away on June 19, 2016. Peggy was a graduate of Montpelier High School. She was a seamstress for many years, as well as devoting her life to God. She attended the Church of Christ located in Antioch, TN.
Loving survivors include her Son – Robert (Wife, Susan) Stinson, Hermitage, TN, Daughter – Linda (Husband, Harold) Smith, Hermitage, TN, Grandson – Matthew (Wife, Sonya) Stinson, Grandson – Andrew (Wife, Alison) Stinson, Granddaughter – Amanda Stinson, Granddaughter – Kristi (Husband, Jon) Reynolds, Granddaughter – Tonya (Husband, James) Drake, Great Grandchildren- Nate, Landon, McKenzie, Lia, Logan, Ethan, Lindsey, Mason, Nolan, Ellie, Andrew, & one Great Great Grandchild – Kyler, Brother – Larry (Wife, Alice) Ely, rural Montpelier, IN, and Brother – Ralph (Wife, Harriett) Ely, Fairfield Glade, TN.
She was preceded in death by her Father – Ralph Ely, Mother – Carrie B. (Booher) Ely, Husband – Kenneth Stinson, and Sister – Betty Ely.
Family and friends may gather to share and remember at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home 109 W Windsor St Montpelier on Tuesday, October 02, 2018 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 11:00 AM with Jon Reynolds officiating. Internment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Warren, IN.
