Paul Eugene Teegarden, 57, Marion, passed away at 3:55 p.m. on October 30, 2018, at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after a battle with cancer. He was born in Marion on February 15, 1961, to the late Herbert and Peggy (Vironet) Teegarden.
Paul was a lifelong resident of Grant County and graduated from Mississinewa High School. Following his military service in the U.S. Navy, he was a taxi driver for Blue Sky and Safeway. Paul was an avid sports fan and especially followed Notre Dame, Colts, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Cubs.
He is survived by his children, Jason Crist, AL, Ryan (Jena) Crist, AL, Paul King, Marion, David Schreiber, FL, Tony Schreiber, FL, Joseph Schreiber, FL, and Kristen Eckstein, Marion; girlfriend, Debra Cox, Marion; several nieces and nephews; brothers, David Teegarden, Marion, and Richard (Tonya) Teegarden, Gas City; sister, Chris (James) Heathcote, Marion; and grandchildren, Auslyn, Dalilah, and Harley.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, JoLynn Teegarden and LuAnn King.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with Paul’s funeral service beginning at 12 noon on Monday, November 5, 2018, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
