Paul Edward Smith, 25, Marion, passed away on May 8, 2018, in Marion General Hospital. He was born in Marion on July 30, 1992, and was the son of Paul Jones and Barbara (Ricks) Jones.
Paul had a passion for cooking which led him to work in food service at Arby’s. He always loved being around people and had a big heart for his nieces and nephews. Paul also enjoyed listening to music, especially gospel music.
He will be missed by his parents, Paul Jones, Indianapolis, and Barbara Jones, Marion; grandmother, Rose L. Smith, Marion; aunts, Tycie Chatman, Indianapolis, Joi Flowers, Marion, and Lee Ann Simpson, Marion; uncles, Orlando Simpson and Lee Simpson, both from Indianapolis; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his grandparents, Robert (Ethel) Jones, Sr., and Walter Smith; sister, Precious; uncle, James Ricks; and cousin, Jalynn.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 12 noon with Paul’s funeral service beginning at 12 noon on Friday, May 18, 2018, at Grant Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel, 1606 W. 26th St., Marion, IN.
