Paul D. McLain, 73, of Marion, Indiana, died Saturday, November 17, 2018, at his residence with his family at his side.
Paul was born August 11, 1945, in Marion, Indiana to the late Guild Rex and Sarah Ellen (Simpson) McLain. He married Mickey Tudor February 10, 1966, she survives.
Paul attended Swayzee High School and St. James Lutheran Church. He retired after 33 years of service from General Motors Stamping Plant, Marion, Indiana and later worked for 13 years for Wal Mart assembling bicycles. and enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, and golf. He was a member of the CPC Sympathy Club and UAW Local 977.
Surviving including his wife are 3 daughters; Stacy Bell, Michelle (Baba Kalidi) Kassambala, and Stephanie (David) Mockobee all of Marion, Indiana; and brother Jerry McLain.
Grandchildren; Jessica (Zach) Bailey, Joshua Disney, Ryan Disney, Kylie McLain, Marissa McLain, Sinhue Mockobee II, Gabriele Hernandez, Zachary Hernandez, and MacKenzie Case.
Great grandchildren; Izzabella, Abraham, Aiyonna, Greyson, Kayden, Ryan, Kinsleigh, Jazlyn and Natalie.
Also surviving is a special friend Dan and his pet companion Cuddles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Richard and Joe, and great-granddaughter Adalynn.
Funeral services for Paul will be Friday, November 23, 2018, at 1:00 PM at College Park Chapel, Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 4601 S. Western Ave, Marion, Indiana with Pastor William C. Lahrman officiating. Interment will be in Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee, Indiana. The family will receive friends Friday, November 23, 2018, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
