Paul A. Hull

Paul A. Hull, 68, Marion, went to be with the Lord at Marion General Hospital on Tuesday, July 17, 2018.  He was born in Jefferson, Iowa, on October 7, 1949, to the late Clifford Earl and Margaret L. (Faunce) Hull.  Paul married Phyllis Ann Critzer on August 10, 1979, and she survives.

 

After graduating from Marion High School he worked for Dunn Service Soft for 14 years and later retired from the Grant County Highway Department.  He was a member of Brookhaven Wesleyan Church where he was involved in the bus ministry. He was actively involved with the Big Brother program of Wabash and Marion. He loved traveling to the Smokey Mountains, watching sports, and spending time with his friends and family. Paul never met a stranger. He loved his dog, “Tink”, and took great interest in his nieces and nephews whom he took on an airplane ride when they were little.

 

He is survived by his loving wife, Phyllis; brother, Clifford Everett (Cathy) Hull, Swartz Creek, Michigan; sister, Asenath Neal, Marion; and foster sons Tony (Megan) Vasquez, Marion and Felix Vasquez, Marion; grandchildren, Valencia Vasquez and Samuel Paul Vasquez; and several nieces and nephews.

 

Also preceding him in death was his brother in law, Jim Neal.

 

The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

 

Services to celebrate Paul’s life will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church, 2960 E. 38th St., Marion, IN.  Rev. Joel Gearhart will be officiating with burial following at Estates of Serenity.
