Madonna R. Hults, 93, died in Rolling Meadows Health Center of La Fontaine at 5:25 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2018. Madonna was born in Kokomo on August 18, 1924. She married Harold K. Hults and he preceded her in death in 2007.
Madonna was a 1942 graduate of Kokomo High School. She had worked for 25 years at Appliance Manufacturing in Van Buren and 7 years at Heritage Pointe in Warren. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Marion.
Madonna was an avid reader and liked gardening and canning. She enjoyed trips to Shipshewana and her many visits to Hershey, PA, where she experienced working in the Hershey chocolate factory. Madonna loved her grandchildren and watching her family grow five generations.
She is survived by her children; Wayne L. (Judy) Hults, Marion and Marcus K. Hults, Marion, grandchildren; Keith, Brian, Roger, Jeff and Derek, 14 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren, several friends, and good friend Casey Lloyd.
The family will receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Mansbarger officiating. Burial will follow at Estates of Serenity.
