Patricia Sue Copeland, 88, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 8:38 am, Saturday, June 3, 2023, at The Waters of Wabash West. She was born on April 14, 1935, in Lackey, Kentucky, to Frank M. and Mada (Dials) Berry.
Patty married Donald Leroy Copeland in Lima, Ohio on April 23, 1955; he died February 16, 2010. She worked at US Gypsum, Kroger Egg, and Millers Merry manor West, all of Wabash. Patty enjoyed working puzzles, paying Bingo, story telling, going to garage sales, and cooking.
She is survived by three children, Arvin (Annette) Copeland of Sarasota, Florida, Diane (Greg) Richards of Wabash, and Roger (Lorie) Copeland of Middlebury, Indiana; daughter-in-law, Lisa Copeland of Wabash; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and her sister and brother, Joann Burns and Tommy (Patsy) Berry, both of Wabash. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two children, Lena Hoff and Paul Copeland, brother, Mitchell Berry, and four sisters, Joyce Turner, Mary Ward, Lillian Owsley, and Betty Simpson.
Funeral services will be 10:00 am, Friday, June 9, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8 pm Thursday, at the funeral home.
