Patricia “Pat” A. (Moore) Gerstorff, 76, of Fairmount, passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023, at Marion Health. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on July 15, 1946, to Raymond Moore and Mable (Reismeller) Mott. On May 14, 1966, she married Albert Gerstorff, who survives.
Pat enjoyed holidays or any occasion she had a reason to cook for family and friends. She was known for her kind heart and taking care of the needs of others. She retired from working for the late Donald Brown D.D.S and Rob Blazekovich D.D.S. Her passion was taking care of patients’ needs.
Pat is survived by her husband of 57 years; nephew, Jack Shaffer of Fairmount; niece, Michelle Shaffer of Fairmount, whom she raised as if she was her own; brother, Tom Mott of Marion; granddaughter, Olivia Persinger of Indianapolis; great-grandson, Johnathan Perry, III, of Indianapolis; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Kay (Donnie) Thien; and brother, Mike (Terri) Moore.
At Pat’s request, no funeral services will be held. Burial will take place at a later date.
