Patricia Ann Sloane, 82, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 2:35 pm, Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at her home. She was born December 19, 1937 in Huntington, West Virginia, to Paul Brown and Louise (Bockway) Haupert.
Pat married Kelly J. Sloane in Kentucky on November 25, 1953; he died November 17, 2013. She worked as a nursing aide 14 years in the obstetrics department of Wabash County Hospital. Mrs. Sloane was affiliated with the Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and spending time at Salamonie Reservoir.
She is survived by her son, Steven (Mary) Sloane of Akron, Indiana, four grandchildren, Casey (Tracy) Sloane and Kelli Sloane, both of Louisville, Kentucky, Keri (Dave) Pulley of Cheyenne, Wyoming, and Mike Coe of Akron, and four great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary J. Sloane.
Private graveside services and burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service of Wabash is handling arrangements.
Preferred memorial is Parkview Wabash Home Health Care and Hospice.
