Hospital open house postponed

Wabash, Ind. – March 12, 2020 – Parkview Wabash Hospital leaders have decided to postpone the open
house event that had been scheduled for Thursday, March 26, at the hospital.
“Out of an abundance of caution, we are postponing the event,” said Marilyn Custer-Mitchell, president of
Parkview Wabash. “We want to help community members and our co-workers stay as healthy as possible
during a very active flu season, and amid concerns about the spread of the novel coronavirus.”
Parkview Wabash Hospital leaders are following guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) and choosing not to host events of size for at least the next two months. A second open
house, planned for May 13 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., is still tentatively scheduled.
