Parkview Wabash Hospital Seeks Volunteers For New Patient Advocacy Council

WABASH,Indiana – Leaders at Parkview Wabash Hospital are seeking volunteers interested in serving as committee members on the Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC).

The PFAC is a group of adult patients, family members, caregivers and healthcare providers who volunteer their time to offer feedback and suggestions to improve the quality, patient, safety and care experience at Parkview Wabash Hospital .The primary goal of the PFAC is to provide a voice from the patient perspective and offer valuable input to senior leadership, hospital administration and clinical staff.

Providing excellent care is our goal at Parkview Wabash Hospital, so we are pleased to support the Patient Family Advisory Council and learn valuable information about how we can best provide care to the community,” said, Marilyn Custer-Mitchell, President, Parkview Wabash Hospital.

Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age and have had experience with Parkview Wabash Hospital or a Parkview Physicians Group office as a patient or family member of a patient. All PFAC committee members will receive orientation and training and should be prepared to attend bi-monthly meetings, have the ability to make decisions by consensus, support council decisions and serve for a term of at least one year.
