Pamela Kay Fansler

Pamela Kay Fansler, 78, Marion, passed away in her home at 8:55 am on Saturday, February 12, 2022. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, May 29, 1943, to Eugene Marshall and Mary (Moore) Howell.  She married Toby J. Fansler, Sr., and he survives.

Pamela graduated from Marion High School and earned her Bachelor’s Degree from IU Kokomo where she majored in nursing and minored in Psychology. She worked as an RN for Dickey Nursing Home in Elwood, IN.  She was a Jehovah’s Witness. She loved shopping, listening to music and dancing.  She enjoyed vacations at Myrtle Beach and Hawaii.  

Survivors include her husband, Toby J. Fansler, Sr. of Marion; daughters, Rhonda Baugh of Marion, Deanna (Larry) Tidmore of Marion; sons, Toby Fansler, Jr. of Marion, Tory Fansler of Marion; grandchildren, James (Erin) Baugh, Averill (Heather) Baugh, Jackie Baugh, Pearl (Lamar) Baugh, Toni (Derek) Hamilton, Cody Fansler, Brianna Fansler, Becky Fansler, Kyra (Justin) Little, and Caleb Fansler; 25 great-grandchildren; and best friend, Pat Berg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Nick Marshall and Rick Marshall.

The family will receive visitors from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at Needham-Storey-Wampner, North Chapel, 1341 North Baldwin Ave, Marion, IN.

Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Pamela’s life will begin at 12:00 noon with Jerry Landis officiating.  Entombment will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
