Pamela I. Welch, 69, Marion, passed away at home on Monday, November 22, 2021. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Friday, December 21, 1951, to Lowell and Delight Richcreek. On April 7, 1967, she married James H. Welch and he preceded her on February 3, 2011.
Pamela graduated from Union City High School and was a wonderful homemaker to her family. She loved sewing, attending the Gas City Concerts in the Park and shopping. She loved spending time with her great-grandkids. When her husband was living, they had old cars and loved attending car shows together.
Survivors include her daughters, Melissa (Rick) Lyons of Marion, Shandra (Jamie) Bennett of Gas City; grandsons, Jordan Welch, Peydon (Angelina) Bennett, Maison Bennett; granddaughters, Bethanney Welch, Kayla Welch, Chandis Bennett, Jessica (Darin) Fridley, Breonna Stratton; great-grandsons, Urijah Welch, Bryler Lyons, Khaleo Bennett; great-granddaughters, Nataleigh Welch, Gracelyn Savage, Camillia Welch, Haizly Fridley, Zajasah Carmack; and sister, Patty Richcreek.
She was preceded in death by her parent, Lowell and Delight Richcreek; husband, James H. Welch; daughter, Reannetta Welch; sisters, Joyce Enyeart, Shirley Pratt; and brother, Peter Richcreek.
The family will receive visitors from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, IN.
A Funeral Service to celebrate Pamela’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, at the funeral home. Pastor Mick Simpkins will be officiating with burial following at Gardens of Memory – Marion.
