Myrtle (Mert) Baldridge

Myrtle (Mert) Baldridge, 81, Marion, passed away at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.  She was born in West Prestonsburg, Kentucky, on November 1, 1936, to the late William and Eliza (Baisden) Tussey.

Myrtle retired from Gen Corp., where she was an inspector.  She enjoyed line dancing, traveling, going to concerts and movies, and working out.  She especially loved spending time with all of her grandchildren and friends.  She attended Grace Community Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Chandra (Bob) Ousley, Kentucky, and Lisa Hall, Marion; brothers, Carl (Peggy) Tussey, Kentucky, Billy Ray (Nancy) Tussey, Kentucky, and Clifford Tussey, Kentucky; grandchildren, Brandy (Jonathan) Broce, Jennifer (William) Bays, Beth (Jonathan) Scarberry, Devin Ousley, Erin (Josh) Tudor, and David (Chelsea) Hall; great-grandchildren, Haley Chaffins-Williams, Casey Chaffins, Ashley Bays, Jordan Bays, Austin Bays, Brianna Hall, Alayna Tudor, and Brayden Tudor; and great-great-granddaughter, Isabella.

The family will receive visitors from 4 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 5, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Services to celebrate Myrtle’s life will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Howard Clayton officiating.
