Michael G. Blanken, 46, Marion, passed away at 10:01 a.m. on Saturday, January 26, 2019, Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. He was born in Dayton, OH, on November 27, 1972, and was the son of Hershel Wayne Blanken and to Debra (Fugate) Robison.
Before Michael became disabled last April, he was a truck driver with Drew Trucking. He previously worked with Star Painting. Michael was an outgoing individual and enjoyed helping anyone he could, even to the point of opening up his own home to others. He enjoyed riding his Harley, fishing, camping, and boating.
He is survived by his father, Hershel Wayne (Dorothy) Blanken; mother, Debra (Fugate) Robison; step-children, Christopher Brockman and Amanda Haaines; 4 step-grandchildren; half-brothers, Willie Blanken, Christopher Blanken, and Dwayne Blanken.
In accordance with the family’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service for Michael.
