Michael D. Williams, 70, of Swayzee, passed away at 5:35 pm on Monday, October 4, 2021, in his home. He was born on December 5, 1950, to Ed and Evelyn (Smith) Williams.
Michael had worked at General Tire Store in Marion, SCM in Marion, and retired from Ford Meter Box in Wabash.
Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, especially going on trips to visit family members out of state. He liked being with friends, especially making trips to Ivanhoe’s.
Survivors include his step-children from a previous marriage, Jason (Gina) Keninger and Michelle Keninger-Williams; two grandchildren, Micah and Julianna; niece, Christina Oldfield; several aunts, cousins, and friends; his close neighbor, Michelle King; and his good friend of over 60 years, Bobby Sherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Williams; mother, Evelyn Williams; sister, Sheila McNeil; and nephew, Barney McNeil.
The family will be hosting a memorial service to be scheduled at a later date.
