Max Mindel Powell, 83, Marion, passed away at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday, November 25, 2018, in his home. He was born in Albany, KY, to the late Leonard and Anna (Damron) Powell.
Max was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of AMVETS in Marion. He worked in the assembly division at RCA until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Kevin Powell, Marion, Karen Powell, Marion, Keith Powell, Marion, and Sharon Shearer, Richmond, KY; sister, Joyce (Powell) Armstrong, MI; brother, David Powell, KY; ex-wife, Betty Johnson, Marion; grandson, Isiah Powell; and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceding him in death were his sisters, Shirley (Powell) Norris and Barbara (Powell) Rianhard.
The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
