Max Charles Garrison, 94, formerly of rural North Manchester, Indiana, died at 3:10 pm, Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Peabody Retirement Community in North Manchester. He was born May 20, 1924 in Wabash County, Indiana to Ovid and Margaret (Keiser) Garrison.
Max was a 1942 graduate of Chester High School. He was a retired farmer, and in his later years enjoyed watching westerns on television. Max lived at Peabody Retirement Community the past 4 years.
He is survived by his two sisters, Marilyn Garrison of North Manchester, and Carolyn Quinn of Huntington, Indiana, nephew, Gary Bohrer of Fort Wayne, Indiana, and two nieces, Diane (Carl) Hockemeyer of Wolcottville, Indiana, and Susan (Don) Fuess of Hudson, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jack Garrison, sister, Joann Bohrer, and his nephew, Jeff Bohrer.
Graveside services and burial will be 1:00 pm Sunday, December 9, 2018 at Fairview Cemetery, Servia, Indiana, with Pastor J.P. Freeman officiating. Arrangements by Grandstaff-Hentgen Bender Chapel, North Manchester.
