Mason Lee Vaughn, 17, Upland, passed away at 5:23 pm on Friday, March 10, 2023. He was born in Anderson, Indiana, on Thursday, February 2, 2006, to Matthew Vaughn and Elizabeth Brewer.
Mason was a student at Eastbrook High School. He enjoyed fishing, football, his new car, and working on cars. He was a natural born leader and people older and younger tended to gravitate toward him. He had many good qualities including stubbornness. He was very loyal to his family and friends. He would have done anything for his sister.
He will be tremendously missed by his father and stepmother, Matthew Vaughn and Kim Young of Upland; sister, McKenzie Vaughn of Marion; brothers, Jeremy Haffner of Muncie, Blake Tackett of Upland, Tyron Rice of Marion; and grandmother, Pam (late Harold) Rittenhouse of Anderson.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Brewer; grandmother, Lisa Richardson; and grandfather, Fred Geist.
Services are to be scheduled at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral and Cremation Service, Storey Chapel 400 E. Main St., Gas City, IN.
