Mary Ann Hunsucker, 80, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 1:34 am, Wednesday, July 5, 2023, at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne. She was born on November 8, 1942, in Wabash, to Robert Marion and Mardella (Musselman) Webb.
Mary Ann attended Wabash High School, was a 1960 graduate of the Kirkland Bible Institute, and a 1965 graduate of God’s Bible College in Cincinnati. She was a school teacher, activity director, worked at Pathfinders, and was a former executive director for the Adams Wells ARC. She also owned and operated Mary’s Macrame’ in Urbana in the 80s. She was a member of the North Wesleyan Church, and her faith was extremely important to her. Mary Ann enjoyed music, reading, watching television, puzzlebooks, art, Indiana University Basketball, Notre Dame Football, journal writing, visiting with friends and family, and especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed taking off in the car driving when she got bored.
She is survived by two children, Jennifer (Randy) Denney of Wabash, and Jason Hunsucker of Somerset, Indiana; two grandchildren, Aubrey Michelle Denney and Alec Steven Denney, both of Wabash, and her sister, Sharon (David) Pickett of Marion, Indiana. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be 11:30 am, Monday, July 10, 2023, at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash. Burial will be in the M.R.E. Cemetery, Berne, Indiana. Friends may call 10-11:30 am Monday, at the funeral home.
