Visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. Monday, May 21, 2018 at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington, Indiana. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3 p.m. Monday at Bailey-Love Mortuary with Pastor Micah Mobley officiating. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery in Huntington County.

Marsha was born on July 30, 1946 in Fort Wayne, the daughter of Earl and Mary (Starbuck) Bowman. She graduated from Huntington High School in 1964 and married Arlen Monroe Sands on January 10, 1970 in Huntington; he preceded her in death on June 24, 2017. Marsha worked at Pyle Industries for many years before working as secretary for Hiner Transport. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Huntington and Order of the Eastern Star Floral Chapter #75. She enjoyed knitting and especially loved watching her kids and grandkids play sports.
Survivors include a daughter, Amy (Tim) Roberts of Huntington, a son, Eric (Gena) Sands of Roanoke, brothers Jim (Mary Helen) Bowman and Frank (Deb) Bowman, both of Huntington, a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Bowman of Huntington, grandchildren Kaytlyn (Garrett) Seney, Brandyn Roberts, Ricky Sands, and Brittany Sands, and a great granddaughter, Laurel Seney. Her parents, husband, and a brother, Tom Bowman, precede her in death.
