Donald Mac Munger Jr.

July 22, 1958 — May 18, 2018

Donald passed away in his home the morning of May 18, 2018 at the age of 59. The Lord took his body from this planet too early, but his kind heart, compassionate soul and witty sense of humor will live on with everyone indefinitely.

Born to Don and Barbara Munger in Peru, Indiana, Donald was full of life and adventure, always bringing a smile to everyone who was blessed enough to know him. He graduated from Peru High School and enlisted in the Navy where he proudly served his country aboard the USS Ranger and USS Roosevelt. After his service, he stayed in San Diego before moving to Orlando, FL, but Peru was always his home and he returned in 2001. No matter where he was though, he sought to bring joy to everyone around and for this he will never be forgotten.

Donald will be joining his parents in Heaven, but is survived by his two children, Donald Munger III (34) and Gracelee Munger (17), and one grandson, Alexander (8). He is also survived by two brothers, Ronald and Charles Munger, and his sister, Connie Heyer, and their spouses and families. Those who were not of blood relation were still viewed by him as family and he will remain in the thoughts and hearts of all those he interacted with.

Please bring your fondest memories of your time spent with Donald and join us for a celebration of his life at his home on Thursday, May 24, 2018. Stories will be shared starting at 3pm and will continue into the evening. The address is 3577 N. SR 19 Peru, IN 46970. We look forward to hearing the impact this amazing man had on everyone’s lives.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Family and friends may sign the online guestbook at www.FlowersLeedyAllen.com.
