Marijean Timmons, 73, Marion, passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2021, at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born in Marion on Friday, July 11, 1947, to Clayton and Dea (Everhart) Wiggins.
Marijean graduated from Marion High School in 1965 and received her B.S. in Business Administration from IWU. She was a ward secretary for Marion General for 35 years and then went to work at Lutheran Child and Family Services in Indianapolis as an accountant. She enjoyed genealogy and cruising, as well as flowers and birds.
Survivors include her sons, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Timmons and Mike (Carmen) Timmons; granddaughter, Elizabeth Timmons; sister, Susan Goodwin; and niece, Denise Folkerth.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Thursday, May 27, 2021, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Marijean’s life will begin at 1:00 pm. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
