Maria Jane Logan, 41, Marion, passed away at 12:47 pm on Friday, June 23, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born in Marion, Indiana, on Saturday, June 19, 1982, to Carl M. and Rosalind “Jane” (Drake) Logan.
Maria graduated from Mississinewa High School and worked in the workshop at Carey Services for 23 years, where she was a self-advocate. She liked going to Planet Fitness. She also liked Disney movies, Gaither gospel music, floating in the pool, and going to Holiday World.
Survivors include her brothers, Carl (Margo) Logan, Jr., of FL, and Daniel Fidler of Marion; sisters, Val Jean Durr of Chicago, IL, Mallory, and Susan Thomas of Marion; nephews, Justin Fidler, Austin (Kayla) Fidler, and Tyler Thomas; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
The family will receive visitors from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following the time of visitation, a service to celebrate Maria’s life will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Steve Colter officiating. Burial will take place at Grant Memorial Park.
