Margaret Lynn “Maggie” MacOwan, infant daughter of Michael R. and Maleri L. (Cunningham) MacOwan, left us to shine her light on Jesus at 3:16 pm, Monday, June 3, 2019 at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born April 11, 2019 in Indianapolis.
In her short little life, Maggie’s shining eyes and smirky grin won the hearts of everyone she came in contact with, including the many dedicated nurses and doctors at St. Vincent NICU and the PICU at Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital. She was an amazing little fighter, never giving up and always encouraging us to be hopeful. Maggie was affiliated with Bachelor Creek Church of Christ. She loved to be held and enjoyed having her Mommy sing to her.
Maggie is survived by her parents, Michael R. and Maleri L. MacOwan, grandparents, Joy & Brent Harlos of Crawfordsville, Indiana, Ronald Cunningham of Waynetown, Indiana, Michael B. & Brenda MacOwan of Wabash, great grandparents, Bonnie & Dale Cohee of Crawfordsville, and aunts, Dawn (Todd) French of Waynetown, Indiana, Brandi Cunningham of San Diego, California, Melissa Cunningham of Star City, Indiana, and Laura (Aaron) Mills of Wabash.
Funeral services will be 2pm Sunday, June 9, 2019 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, with Pastor Kelly Nelson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm Sunday, at the funeral home.
