Margaret A. Woolsey

Margaret A. Woolsey, 71, Marion, went to be with the Lord peacefully at 8:58 p.m. on Monday, August 20, 2018, at Community North Hospital (hospice) in Indianapolis after a long battle with dementia.  She was born in Marion on November 11, 1946, to the late Calvin Snapp and Marcella (Shook) Snapp Goodpaster.

Margaret attended Marion High School and Marion College.  At an early age, she gave her life to Christ.  She had two sons, Bill and Alan, with her former spouse, Richard Woolsey.  She worked as a bank teller and had her own income tax business.  She loved music, crossword puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by a son, Bill (Tracie) Woolsey, Fishers; grandchildren, Lizz Woolsey, Marion, and Tracy Woolsey, Marion; great-granddaughter, Harper Kahn; brothers, Don Snapp, Marion, Russ Snapp, Marion, and Jim (Tina) Goodpaster, Marion; step-mother, Shirley Snapp; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and one uncle.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Alan Woolsey.

The family will receive visitors from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.

Services for Margaret will take place at 1 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Henson officiating.  Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Sweetser.
