Clara “C.C.” Campbell, 86, Marion, passed away at 7:41 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at Rolling Meadows Health Care Center in LaFontaine. She was born in McRoberts, Kentucky, on April 15, 1932, to the late Pink W. and Lottie (Day) Pass. She married Taulbert Campbell on February 20, 1950, and they were married 30 years before he preceded her in death on September 22, 1980.
Clara moved to Anderson with her family prior to Marion, where Taulbert came to work at the General Motors Plant. She was a homemaker, avid Cubs fan, and a member of the Moose Lodge, where she loved playing Bingo.
She is survived by her children, Marva (Rick) Miller, Somerset, and Kelly (Becky) Campbell, Jonesboro; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and sister, Virginia (Barry) Griffith, South Carolina.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, James and Tim Campbell; brothers, Earl and Pink William Pass, Jr.; and a sister, Gloria Arnold.
A memorial visitation for Clara will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. on Friday, August 24, 2018, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
Immediately following visitation, a memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. with Pastor Rob Barton officiating.
