Lucille has been a member of the Peru Church of the Brethren since the early 50’s. She held several leadership positions throughout the years. Her first love was Jesus, and she loved her church family dearly. She chose to love everyone who entered her life.

Gardening was one of the things Lucille enjoyed very much, and would love to show her flowers to visitors. She cooked well, and enjoyed sewing and making crafts. But most of all, Lucille enjoyed music! She played a few small instruments, and she sang beautifully. She was known for phoning loved ones on their birthday and singing Happy Birthday to them.

Lucille was a hard worker, both at home, and her place of employment. She helped build two of her homes, and managed them well. She worked in a couple of factories when she was younger; and later, because she was a caring woman, she took working positions that allowed her to help with children and the elderly.
