Louis Nash, 79, Marion, passed away at 10:20 p.m. at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne on Wednesday, June 20, 2018. He was born in Earle, Arkansas, to the late Mitchell and Emma (Hughes) Nash.
Louis attended Dunbar High School in Earle, Arkansas. After moving to Marion, he worked at General Tire and was also an entrepreneur. Louis loved to fish, and he enjoyed restoring classic cars. He also enjoyed talking to people and rarely met a stranger.
He is survived by his brother, Emerson (Christine) Reed, Detroit, Michigan; close nephew, Kenneth (Kim) Hale, Nashville, Tennessee; sister-in-law, Ollie Hale; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, Andrew Hale and David Reed.
The family will receive visitors from 12 noon to 1 p.m. with Louis’ funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Integrity Funeral Care, 2901 S. Washington St., Marion, IN. Burial will follow at Grant Memorial Park.
