Renea was born in Marion on July 2, 1963 to Robert R. and Fannie I. (Dailey) Royal. She passed away in St. Joseph Mercy Hospital, Ann Arbor, Michigan on June 5, 2018.
Renea was a 1981 graduate of Mississinewa High School and continued her education at Ball State University and graduated in 1996 with bachelor degrees in marketing and physiology. Later she moved to Napoleon, Michigan and worked for the Social Security Administration and most recently she was a marketing specialist for the Napoleon Area Chamber of Commerce. In her free time Renea enjoyed spending time with her family and training her dog, Gabby.
She is survived by her husband of 19 years, Richard A. Davis, Jackson, Michigan; son, Caleb Moore, Jackson, Michigan; mother, Fannie I. Royal, Gas City; brother, Marc Royal, Columbia, Missouri; several nieces and nephews.
Renea is preceded in death by her father, Robert R. Royal; maternal grandparents, William and Anna Dailey; paternal grandparents, Thelma Royal.
Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, July 21, 2018 in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City with Rev. Michael Fuqua officiating. Renea’s family will receive extended family and friends with refreshments following the committal service in the Gas City Masonic Lodge, 701 Eastmont Drive, Gas City. Owen-Weilert-Duncan Funeral Home, Gas City Chapel, 200 North 7th Street, Gas City, Indiana was entrusted with the local arrangements.
